RUN FOR JILL
Run or walk to raise funds for Jill Hansen Holker. After spending countless hours caring for others as an ICU nurse, Jill is now battling COVID-19 herself and needs our support. All proceeds from the race will be donated to Jill and her family. In lieu of receiving the traditional shirt, medal, and swag, runners for this event will only be given a race bib and a timing chip so that all costs can be saved for the donation to Jill. Sign up now and run whenever you want - any day, any time.
After registering, download the OYO App. The app will lead you through a short tutorial on how OYO works. During your race, the OYO app will also help keep you on course and will sync with the timing equipment to ensure legitimacy and accuracy. Note: You will need your smartphone in your possession during your race, with the OYO app running to ensure proper results.
We highly recommend that you run your race using earphones. It is much easier to hear the turn-by-turn instructions if you are using earphones rather than your phone's speaker.
Register using the form below, and you will be shipped a race bib with an attached timing chip. Whenever you are ready for your race, simply head to the start line with your race bib, activate your OYO app, and check in at the start line kiosk. You do not need to schedule your arrival time in advance - simply show up whenever it is convenient for you.
The Start/Finish line is located at 986 W 9000 S, West Jordan, UT 84088, on the northeast end of the PEC office complex. Please park at the north end of the lot.
What is OYO?
OYO is a certified Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K race course with locations in Salt Lake City, UT and Portland, OR. Run a real chip-timed race any time of day, any day of the year! Learn more about OYO on our Info & Rules page in the menu above.
Once again, it is important to note that the Run For Jill race is a special event, and different from a standard OYO registration. You will not receive a traditional OYO race packet in the mail. The cost of your shirt, medal, and other swag will all be donated to Jill's family.
