The Run of Requirement is a magical race which can only be experienced by someone who is in need. To make the race appear, a runner has to walk past a section of blank course three times concentrating hard on what is needed… a real, fun racing atmosphere.

Actually, all you need to do for this experience is register.

Come geek out with us Potter style on Saturday, October 10th from 9am to 11am and run a 5K, 10K Half Marathon or Marathon! Costumes encouraged. The Start/Finish line is located at 986 W 9000 S, West Jordan, UT 84088, on the northeast end of the PEC office complex. Please park at the north end of the lot.

When you arrive on site, please visit our check-in table at the Start Line to pick up your race packet. Stretch, give yourself a pep talk, Expecto Patronum and you're off!

What you get

This is not your typical OYO Boost Day. You will NOT receive a traditional OYO race packet in the mail. Instead, you will pick up your packet the morning of the event between the hours of 9am and 11am. In addition to your race bib with timing chip, you will receive a special Run of Requirement race medal and tri-blend shirt (pictured) at the finish line.

Because of these differences, you must register using the form below (do not use the regular OYO registration page).

Once again, it is important to note that the Run of Requirement is a special event, and different from a standard OYO registration. You will not receive a traditional OYO race packet in the mail. Upon registration below, simply show up on Oct 10 between 9am and 11am ready to race! We'll take care of the rest.
